Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists focus on improving your child’s function in everyday activities of life. Such activities may include playing, eating, dressing, hygiene and learning. Our occupational therapists help your child enhance his or her fine/visual motor skills (e.g. buttoning, holding a fork, coloring, cutting, and combing hair). Occupational therapy also addresses how a child processes sensations (sensory integration) and develops overall motor coordination, as well as social and emotional skills. This helps your child to deal with his or her environment, and function more fully in it.
